Hi 2 stents,

How are you getting on at work?

Are you able to sit down at the cheque out?

Was it a little colder this morning where you are?

It maybe it was the cold that set off your chest pain. The GTN spray did it's job.

I suggest you wrap a scarf around your nose to prevent breathing in the cold air which can cause angina.

Hi milk fairy I’m feeling ok I cane off Adizam because of fluid in my ankles and Vasculitis/capillarities... was ok but since been back at work I get chest pains all the time. We are a very busy shop and somethings are heavy

I obviously get tired but feel ok

If I ask I can sit down but I think I’ll be stretching across

Yes it was colder this morning but never got any chests pains at work wonder if that’s because I took my spray beforehand

Thank you for your reply milkfairy

It could well be that you haven’t had chest pain today because you took your GTN spray. I have to take mine before I go to cardio rehab otherwise I have very bad pains afterward, my doctor suggested I do this. Perhaps you should discuss it with your doctor.

I had issues with Diltiazem (Adizam is a brand name) but not with Isosorbide Mononitrate another anti-anginal. Have a chat with your GP as it may be worth trying.

You can actually go to 100 - 120mg per day in split doses, 2 - 3 per day.

that’s what I was on a few years ago but I got really bad headaches so they changed me to slow release. can I ask do you suffer with MVA and do you feel poorly with it.

Because at the moment I don’t feel poorly and it really confusing me,

I took my spray twice last night the pain went off both times but only lasted about 1hour ?

This morning I’ve had pains since about 8 am only been watching tv. Took gaviscon as I’m burping a lot that’s not touched it. So just taken spray again pain still there ? I would go to A&E but I don’t feel poorly

Sorry for long post

No I developed angina from narrowing of a number of coronary arteries, including the LAD. Although stable initially it started to become unstable and I had a quadruple bypass last year.
