Been on Entresto low dose for 3 weeks and middle dose 1 week.

I did collapse once and lot of dizziness on lowest dose and informed cardiology. OK .

Side effects I am now experiencing are:

- Today - Legs giving way like 4 or 5 times in quick succession without blacking out during light headedness and nausea. This forces me to sit on floor to recover. Feeling of tightness at heart without pain - Not a pleasant feeling at all and feel funny for rest of day.

- Today I notice bowels are loose (This is a listed side effect as gastro intestinal disturbances

- Today latest - Strangest one is when standing my right leg feels numb from thigh downwards then goes away after sitting a while. Happened twice this week.

- most days Breathlessness on movement,

- most days Tiredness. light headed and lethargy is most of time

- sore muscles come and go

Before anyone says call 111 , I am keeping cardiology informed.

BP is 85 / 70 but for me its always low only about 5 points lower now. On pacemaker so always 50 beats, unless active

Might help others if they feel same way.

Seems your having a few problems to say the least James.Quite a powerful drug that Entresto I only lasted two days and it was blowing my head off just on Ramipril now.Obviously after consultation if your body eventually gets used to it,very beneficial.

Hope you get the results your after.Goodluck

I hah/have occasional dizzy spells and it happened/happens when I get up from the sofa (which is quite low for me being tall), I tried sitting up and counting to 10 before standing and this seemed to work.

Spoke to my cardiologist about it and he said I had done the right thing as this is what he would have advised.

Hello you,

I am now on the high dose of this drug and to be honest I have had a few of your listed side effects.

With all medication { with me } I find it takes around a month for the side effects to calm.

I hope the same for you James as Entresto is supposed to be a good drug to have in our arsenal.

Take care

Well certainly if you have noticed all this since starting the med 3 weeks ago then my money is on the drug causing this. From my experience, entresto does cause much of this listed. It got to a point where my only symptoms i have are from after taking this drug within 15 minutes of taking it. a feeling of brain fog, fatigue, anxiety and a kind of feeling of being unwell. I have also had days of leg cramps, lower back pain and back of neck pain. I do believe it is this drug. It really ruins the days sometimes as it can be intense. I have now found to split the morning and evening dose in half and take it with a 30-60 minute gap of the morning dose then same again for evening. For me its not as intense but its still there.

But the cardiologist says its good for the heart...so.....
