Good morning,

Sorry to hear about your HA, give yourself some time and don’t be afraid to call the cardio unit who looked after you. It’s prob the anxiety playing with you which is one thing that is unexpected for everyone.

I had a HA and a stent fitted in August 2022 and for the first few months I got random pains in the chest and panics I was having another HA.

I still get them now and it’s mostly the meds upsetting me, small change in the times and amounts sorted it to a minimum.

I’m 51, don’t smoke and very fit and now 99% back to normal so there is hope and you’ll be fine :) You are doing the right thing in asking here as it helps a lot to talk to other who’ve had the same issues.

Good luck :)

I dont know what meds you are on but your symptom is a typical side effect of Ramipril.
