2nd HA Anniversary - and back to the same spot

Well that’s been an excellent day. 2nd anniversary of that bloody heart attack, and I’m back to ride that same climb up pigeon brow, all upwards of winding goat track! So had fun in the gnarly downhill single track bits, back down the Ramble del Canar, then retraced our route and off for a great Sunday lunch of grilled squid. Even had a stop at Isla plana social club for coffee and yes I partook of brandy… it doesn’t hurt to break the rules occasionally. 40km of fun in sun! Better than laying in bed of a Spanish hospital… life is brilliant, and the changes I’ve made have made faster and leaner, most importantly appreciative of what I have. The stent in my LAD and the support of my wife have meant I’m living every day to the max

Truly inspirational to all, especially those who have recently suffered a HA and fear they won't see next week, next month or next year!

Hi - that’s good news- I’m fast approaching (9 months post) my 1st HA Anniversary… it happened on a cycling holiday, BUT not while actually cycling! I was in the bike hire shop in Mallorca at the beginning of the holiday, so didn’t get that far! 😂

I could of course do that ride myself very easily but I don't want to embarrass you by hurtling past!

Seriously, that is inspirational and hopefully you will let us know how you get on
