Good reason to celebrate today as it’s two years to the day that my life was saved by those wonderful NHS folks. Suffered a Stemi / widow maker, but 4 stents got me up and running again. Luckily I live only 8 minutes away from the Leicester Glenfield Heart Unit and an ambulance was in the area. From Stemi to Cath Lab well within the hour. Apart from daily Edoxaban, Atorvastatin, Bisoprolol, Eplerenone, occasional Glycerol Trinitrate if needed, Lansoprazole, Entresto, Dapagliflozin and previously finished with Prasugrel & Ramipril - I don’t take any drugs at all. Life’s good. Have been left with a small mural thrombus but it’s been managed, I hope. Happy days and bless you all.

Second anniversary of HA and hopefully we’ll on the mend
Happy anniversary! It’s also my first anniversary today of having a stemi but only one stent fitted, and a DEB in another artery. And all done in a couple of hours. Thank you NHS.
I bet those two years tasted especially sweet!
I'm sure you'll enjoy the next two just a much!
it’s been a bit of a journey, and still is at times - but life’s good thanks.
Bless you! I am so happy that you made it, and that you are doing much better two years on!
Reason to celebrate indeed. If I may ask, how long have you been on Entresto and how has it affected your EF? I also had a LV thrombus 16 years ago but is since gone away due to blood thinners. Cheers.
started 24/26mg Entresto once daily on 29th July last year, and now on 97/103mg twice daily and hoping my EF has stopped slipping backwards. I have an echocardiogram booked for 2nd June followed half hour later with appointment with my cardiologist. Fingers crossed my EF has either stabilised or improved and the mural thrombus will not be and issue. Cheers.
