We’ll I thought after my 2 x MI and my quadruple CABG in 2022 I was hoping 2023 would be better and I’m sure it will but yesterday on the first of a new year I ended up at A and E. At least it’s not my heart at least I don’t think so, pain swelling and a lump in my groin, I think it’s an infected lymph node. I would have left it till I could see the Gp but after having testicular CA 11 years ago and the fact that if it is an internal infection I can see it being great for my recent heart problems. Well they took bloods today and gave me large dose antibiotics, I’m booked for a scan tomorrow. I’m sure it will all be fine👍

Hello :-)

So sorry to hear how your year has started of but like you say it is not your heart thank goodness

They will sort this out and you have the rest of the year to enjoy :-)

Hope you are home soon :-) x

you unfortunately got your first challenge of 2023 bit sooner than others, hope you recover quickly.

Oh no, I'm sure you'll be OK. Unfortunately or maybe fortunately previous experiences make us more sensitive to our bodies and what might be going on.

I'm like you. After my CABGX3 in September and numerous complications after I'm going into the new year awaiting an Angiogram cos they think my LAD graft has failed. Still getting Angina after all I've been through is a nightmare.

Seeing everyone on social media celebrating new starts has definitely been hard!

These things are sent to try us. Good job I have my faith.

Good luck

Susie

I hope they get it all sorted out for you, I’m awaiting some more tests as I’m getting some chest pains which I never had before. I think because we all think we are fixed when something goes wrong it feels 10 times worse.
