What Entresto like?

Just wondering if anyone who has been on Entresto for a length of time couldj describe their experience?

I have been on it for over a year. No noticeable reaction to it, but at the last test my EF (ejection fraction) was greatly improved. I believe that if you can tolerate it, it is the best thing since sliced bread or your preferred comparator. You might like to look at other posts on this site.

Hi I've also taken for over a year (on highest dose). It initially lowered my (already low) BP and I felt giddy for a while, but soon wore off. Otherwise all good and the impact on heart function has been remarkable. Its worth trying and if you can tolerate it, bloomin' amazing!

I’ve been on the 48/51 mix for approx 8 months and now been put on the 97/103 one. No probs so far + hoping it shows an increase to my EF at the next check👍

I've been on target dose since 2019, problem of side effects is that I like others tend to be on si many with similar effects. If it's just Entresto and your not in your retirement age you may have less issues howerver if you never get to the full dose, there's research that show decent benefit lower doses... I'm in my early 40's fyi

I have been on 49:51 for about 4 months. Ejection fraction remains moderately impaired, but I am struggling a bit with low bp. I had giddiness on standing up for 6 y or so, which was tolerable, however since commenced entresto it is more persistent and gives me blurred vision. BP 80/50 sometimes lower. Meds under review currently.

Been on middle dose now for perhaps a year. Initially had a problem with Bp on standing. As time has progressed I don’t get the dizzy feeling as you stand and walk. My BP is a bit low anyway around 107/63 ish ( varies) I can’t go on the top dose due to my BP. Just had a scan and waiting for results. Did make me feel like I’d had some improvement but wait I’ll and see. It is supposed to be one of the gold standard drugs for HF.

Interesting Putterguy - my BP is about the same as yours and when they put me on the higher 97/103 dose they said I’d be OK on it as long as my Systolic reading didn’t go below 95. So far always over 100 so all good. PS…hope your test results are fine.

I started taking around Entresto 2 years ago. For the first few weeks/months I would get dizzy standing up but that doesn’t happen anymore and I don’t have any side effects now. My Ejection Fraction has improved from 17% to 30-35%.
