Hi,hope your well as possible.I was unable to take the lower dose so ended up back on ramipril.Ime doing OK though.Ihope you do ok on the lower dose.

GOODLUCK

You need to discuss your concerns with your prescribing health professional (GP?) who is best placed to deal with medication dose levels and alternatives should they be needed to treat the medical conditions you present.

Hello I am on middle dose 49/51mg twice a day, Heart Nurse said that is it for me due to low BP

Well it was, my BP has come up quite a bit since Cardiologist has opened my previously bypassed LAD ( May2022 ) it is now around 125/75 with a HR 50 bpm. I see the Heart Failure Nurse again in March so will be interesting to see what she thinks. Last ef was 38% so not to bad.

I don't think there is an alternative to Entresto well that's what I have been told by Heart Failure Team I have had different Meds added and taken away but Entresto has always stayed lol

Regards

Very good vitals. Any breathlessness with Entresto? Thank you.

Early days for me with Entresto taking 49/51 twice daily. Can feel light headed but main side effect is coughing and sneezing. Quite annoying.

Hello there. I have been on entresto since March 2020. Lower dose for a good year or so and quite recently moved up to middle dose.

Firat impressions was it improved things quite dramatically as i was in a bad way anyhow with ejection 12%. My hands were frozen cold. Once i started this within one week i could feel them again. Within that first year it was up to 35% then 44% 6 months later.

Although i seen improvements in that way i also notice sides from taking this med. The low dose wasnt so bad. But i did get brain fog, low back pain, fatigue from it. Then when increased to middle dose, i noticed more fatigue and aniexity too. Also sometimes chest pains but couldn't pin point that....probably aniexity too.

Also low bp was a side as it brings that down a bit.

So what i do now is the morning dose i sometimes split it in half and it leaves me abit more clear headed and less fatigued during the day.

I’ve discovered that splitting a.m. dose in half and whole dose at night works better for me. I’m 10 days on the middle dose.

It seems like an increased ef should not have fatigue as a side effect. Trying to understand. What are the improvements with the increased ef ? Did it improve shortness of breath. Has your energy level increased with it, if that’s possible with fatigue. I would think that a 50 % ef with hf is the same as 50% without hf. Sounds like the fatigue comes from another drug or like many drugs that cause fatigue unrelated to ef. Sorry for rambling.

i am noit sure where i am at with it all. Getting pains and out of breath, fatigue and dizziness.
