I’m on Entresto and my blood pressure is 88/52. 78/51 84/50 l feel ok and can swim and walk on most days Does anyone know if I can fly with a low blood pressure also my ejection fraction is 40%

Are you on any other drugs as entresto doesn’t do that with BP to me. A very low bp you have, I couldn’t walk when mine was that low.

Hi, I'm on the middle lot of entresto as my BP is very low too so they won't out me on the highest dose. I can walk ok but not really far, no more than 30 mins. I asked my HF nurse about going abroad and she said it'll be fine but please check with your HF nurse or cardiology team about your situation. My EF is 35-39%.

I thought your blood pressure increases when you fly, so if anything your BP should be closer to normal on a flight? I might be wrong & I'm not medically trained blah blah

I had blood pressure 70-90 most of the time but it had no effect on me, i felt fine but it stalled my dose increases until my BP was 100+

I am on small dose entresto and have very similar BP. I have flown, didn't think about it. It was fine. My BP does give me a bit of giddiness, I need make sure I drink plenty of liquids

Thank you for your reply, we are going to Tenerife in January and l just worried about it and if l would have needed to cancel but I’m pleased you were ok.

Also on mid range Entresto and yes, I can get down to 70 ish over 40 plus at times. No real problem if you rise slowly from sitting etc. The " 4 Pillars" do reduce BP for certain.

with those readings I would contact your gp. 90/60 is bottom end of normal. Usually ok, But if you have other symtoms needs looking at asap.
