I have been asked a number of times to run a virtual event similar to the ones we had in lock down. Before I do so I just want to gauge interest. So if you are interested can you please reply and say if you prefer Friday, Saturday or Sunday. Thank you.

Michael you've read my mind!! Just today I've arranged to visit my sister soon and we've decided to do afternoon tea as a treat. Your tea will be much cheaper!! Is it a sparkling afternoon tea or can I bring gin???

Why not sparkling gin? That way you cover all possibilities! 😋x

Thats true. I wasn't aware you could get sparkling gin, sounds good though 😋

Anything's possible at a virtual party! FYI thought I was making that up but apparently is available and also with gold leaf in it too! Go on, treat yourself! X

Would that be an M&S product? I did have a bottle from them at Christmas that was a bit like a snow globe but gold leaf (presumably!) Instead of snow! X

Hi, I just was scrolling by & saw that post & thought of this one , it’s maybe the one you mentioned (It’s been in limbo in my kitchen cupboard for months since I can’t drink it - but plan to someday ).

Gin with gold sparkles

Can't make Friday but the other days are fine. Rather than a scone (unless cheesy) I prefer a toasted got cross bun with butter!

Hi Michael, count me in, mind you you should know I’m very clumsy. Had afternoon tea at the Ritz as a present from the children, managed to knock the teapot over. Ritz were ver professional, don’t worry Madame, just picked it all up in the tablecloths and relaid the table.🙀

I'm in. No preference as to day, but could you give us 48 hours notice if possible, as I usually don't see your posts until all the gin has gone :)

Dear MichaelJH

I have to decline in partaking as the thought of sharing any cake with anyone is completely horrifying { plus Nanny says it can only be served between four and five pm and no gin is allowed! }

Hopefully I’ll be home from hospital! For the third time now, moved in a certain way and out popped the head of my prosthetic head of femur. Pain grrr. Second time had to get fire service to get me from upstairs to the ambulance. Downstairs this time ! Fell on front so couldn’t appreciate the good looking paramedics!

Happened last Sat, soyes I.lbe backyard for our party. No jiving or twisting though!!

Crikey, I hope you're ok. Is there anything they can do to stop this happening? We had a good looking paramedic at Christmas, he went even higher in my esteem when he told me he'd had to do CPR on his own week's old daughter!! I think you should definitely sit next to me, you bring the prosecco and I'll bring the cotton wool to wrap you up in!! Xx

My son picking me up to take me back to my home this evening. Seen some very sad happenings on this ward while here. But there we are, hospitals share many sides of our lives don’t they?

Just been fitted with a brace, hopefully to prevent it happening again!so home for the party! can’t wait for the Prosecco!
