Echo finding - Normal E/A ratio on mitral valve inflow ?

echo finding says normal e/a ration on mitral valve inflow but reversed by tissue velocity imaging. However LA volume by body mass ok, peak e wave and ee prime ok indicating normal LA pressure. Also says LA by visual mildly dilated.

These results don’t match CT and MRI findings 3-4 months ago ( different health care providers) that said atria and mitral valve normal.

Thoughts?

I've been having echos for over 10 years. All I ever get told is whether my leaky mitral valve is graded mild, moderate or severe.I suspect your question is a bit too technical for most of us. Hope you can get some consistent answers.

Thanks mary. Yes it may be but there’s normally some one who has what some else has!
