Echo Findings and E and A waves in Mitral Valves

Can anyone help with a conundrum? Had an echo recently which showed a Peak E wave of 0.7m/s and A wave of 0.2m/s. Both of these are in the normal ranges which are 0.6-0.8 for the E wave and 0.2-0.35 for the A wave. However these results mean that my E/A ratio is 3.5 which is considered high ( from what I can see a normal range for someone over 60 is around 1). So I cant square that if my E and A waves are in the normal range - how come the E/A ratio is considered so high when the constituent numbers that make up the E/A ratio are normal? The summary of the echo is that the LV systolic function is normal so it appears its not a major issue but anyone have any thoughts on my query?

thanks. Did they say your chest pain wasn’t heart related as aneurysms ,unless growing fast, are apparently asymptomatic
