HelloI use it for weight training. Creatine alone wont really build muscle, maybe you could try protein if its safe for you.

You can get testosterone supplements.

Dear Radars.

Hello again to you, I’m unsure as to what you are looking for with taking Creatine.

I used to use this as a part of training and many gym goers do.

Like you I have no testosterone produced by my body due to testicular cancer a life time ago.

I am on a testosterone gel which helps balance that out {not used for muscle building } .

Have you discussed this with your Dr ? They should send you to an endocrinologist who can help you with the lack of testosterone, and yes even at our ages.

If you are just after weight gain { fat and muscle } then it would be better to supplement your diet with high calorie drinks, which you can get on prescription.

The Creatine will help but the side effects may make it not worth while. I had stomach pains with them.

If I can help in anyway with the testosterone gel, then ask away, it’s important that your body has a certain level of it for all manner of things, brittle bones, heart functions etc the list is endless.

To many folk regard testosterone just as a sexual hormone , it’s not.

Take care

Thanks ,but just 1 problem i have got locally advanced prostate cancer, diagnosed 2014 had radiotherapy, finished zoladex hormone therapy 2016,my testosterone has not recovered, gp asked endocrinologist for trt and be monitored but they wouldn't, but some guys with the same prognosis as me have, different hospitals might say yes its hard.

Yes that is bad because without the testosterone I feel terrible and I lose weight hand over fist.I would push your case to get referred somewhere else.

I would suggest you ask your GP for referral to a dietician or nutritionist (they do more than weight loss diets). With pre-existing medical problems there is always a danger that over the counter products will do more harm than good.

Thanks, but nothing wrong with appetite it all goes to my stomach, it is muscle mass thats gone, dieticians start throwing all sugary things at you and thats not good for my prostate cancer.

Rather a sweeping and inaccurate statement. After a lifetime of diabetes I can say there are both good and bad dieticians. Get referred and explain your aims.

Creatine doesn’t help you gain weight directly. It just helps you train for longer and harder, and also helps with recovery. To gain weight you need to eat more.

Yeah, I've stopped creatine anyway, I'm one of those people cant gain weight no matter what I eat, except muscle mass which I've lost now with no testosterone.

in reply to Radars

Can you not use a testosterone suppliment?
