Blood oxygen % at different heart rates

I have regularly recorded my blood pressure, blood oxygen % and heart rate for many years. My average resting heart rate is 50bpm with an average of 97% blood oxygen. If another person has the same blood oxygen of 97% but their heart rate is 72bpm while resting, does that mean their body has more oxygen to use?

Hello OctoberDragon.

I will be watching the answers to your post carefully for I don’t really understand the blood oxygen %.

The reason for this is every time { 8 times plus a day } they took my % in hospital, and it was low, they always asked me to take deep breath’s in and out until the % went up.

They didn’t hang around to see if it went down.

Now I’m at home my Heart Failure Nurse has asked me to take and monitor BP/HR and blood oxygen % .

I can manipulate the % reading by just doing my deep breathing exercises.

Take care
