This week (Wednesday) is my one year anniversary of double bypass. I’m fit, well and enjoying life to the full.

To all you Heart Warriors starting out on your CABG journey, know that with a positive attitude, a smile, determination every day and family and friends, you shall prevail and be also leading life to the full again soon ❤️

Happy anniversary! I think the term "life is for living" was coined for cats, but works well for us hearties too!

Thank You for such a positive post just what I needed to read this Morning :-) x

Congratulations!! Mine is next Month. Can't believe I've done it to be honest. Now I am feeling better than I have done for years. These Surgeons are pretty good aren't they? Where would we be without them or, in fact, any of the NHS. I never thought I would feel as good as I do now but it can be done. Brilliant Post too. 😀😃

Well done on getting the first year under your belt and for being so positive. Although we all start from different positions when we start out on our heart journey, keeping positive is just so important as we recover. I just can't believe I ever had a HA, stents and then a triple bypass a year later - it seems like it was in another life.
