Playing Football Again!

⚽️ Great to be back kicking a ball. Legs and body very sore this morning! Didn’t make #PLAYR targets but was just happy to be playing again after such a long time out due to numerous lockdowns, and recovery from recent #CABG. Chest held up well and also managed to find my scoring boots again with a brace!😁

Heart disease can reduce our quality of life... only if we allow it. Stay healthy and active. Wishing you all a lovely week!

God!! What I’d give to be running round a pitch again!!

That’s where it all started for me though so there’s no chance the missus is gonna let me back out to play!

I don’t know your situation in full, however I do believe exercise is best form of prevention. All our players are heart patients with varying conditions... the oldest one is 74! 👊🏽

I had a cardiac arrest whilst playing football. Was shocked four times at pitch side and three more in the ambulance.

I’d love to be back out playing, but it’s not worth the risk - I’ll have to stick to golf and snooker
