I just wanted to make contributors aware my story is now on UTube as way of extolling the virtues of Walking Football using my recent Guinness World Record Achievement as Longest surviving triple bypass patient (male).

To view go into UTube and in search box put Walking Football Hatfield. Should bring it up to view.

Secondly the gent who produced the excellent video also put my story in excellent form too.

To view go onto internet search and put in birchwoodleisure.co.uk pan down looking out for 3 pics across the page, my story is on the left.Enjoy.

I must disagree! Walking football would be great for me but, the problem is, they run!

It doesn’t matter as long as you walk, a good Ref should pull the bad ones up. I’m 77 and I’m always being pulled up.I’m a bit of a runner bean.

It’s such great fun and the social side is fantastic for a while I played basketball nobody walked in that although they were supposed to.Pickle Ball an indoor tennis game with plastic balls and wooden bats.Circuit training a cardiac class all from contacts from Walking Football. It really does open a whole new world of entertainment and friendship, it will get you fit let the others run and you walk, they will or should be penalised.

Thanks for that. I am actually pretty fit with a strict weight training regime and healthy diet, although what you are doing would be fun. I have watched some of it and the second time I watched was very heated with a lot of body contact which, if I didn't take Warfarin, I would enjoy but....... I can't take that risk!
