Hi everyone,

My mum has been getting lots of hot and cold sweats since she had Quadrupled bypass surgery 11 weeks ago. These episodes of hot and cold sweats is happening day and night. She is also still having Palpitations but this isn't as bad as it was but it's happening mostly at nights and quiet a few times. Anyone have any experience with these post surgery please? Is this normal I am feeling very worried. 😟

I would get in contact with the cardiology team that carried out the bypass operation and see what they say. It may just be your mother's body getting used to a vastly improved cardio-vascular system and adjustment may take some time. Her medication may also be causing some of the issues she is experiencing.
