following yearly blood test l have been told that my kidney results are border line and to have another test in 3 months ,occasionally leave funny turns an overwhelming feeling possibly that lam going to pass out could this be connected to my kidneys . Because of Covid l have been shielding and am afraid of making unnecessary visits anywhere.

Hello,

I too have a problem with my kidneys had my yearly bloods done and found my kidney function had gone down plus my blood count was down had repeat blood done 2 weeks later, kidney function up a little will go back to the blood clinic next month for them to check to make sure they are behaving. Have been put on iron and folate for 4 months to see if that helps my blood count.

I didn’t have any feelings of going to pass out. Maybe a word with your GP, if you haven’t already. I know when my blood pressure is a little low I can feel a bit spaced out.

I am on high dose of furosemide to help my heart, so my kidneys do take a hammering.

Best wishes Pauline

Hi I also have kidney problems, which I get regular blood test for, my consultant has stopped some of my meds and changed others to try and help, but the function still seems to go up and down, he arranged a kidney scan and fortunately there is nothing too sinister lurking, low blood pressure made me feel light headed and a bit spaced out my meds affected it, I was on entresto and bisoperol, mabe worth asking your Gp to check it, take care char

Yes, 4 years on water tablets certainly take their toll. My kidneys give cause for concern but I need to take the bumetanide to stop the odeama. If in doubt , ring the HF Nurse or your GP.
