Stomach pains

Hi gang is it unusual to have such bad stomach pains I’m on Clopidogrel and aspirin now for 18 days and also I take Lansoprazole 30 mg twice a day everything I eat seems to cause pain and indigestion I spoke to my GP and explained my history of stomach problems and she has told me to take Gaviscon as well but this bout of stomach pain is putting me off eating I don’t want to keep phoning the GP as we only have a phone consultation due to Covid and I find it easier to do face to face any suggestions

Not a DR, but Lansoprazole 30 mg twice a day seems a bit much, can you reduce to one a day? HTH (check with your dr first etc..)

Sorry my normal dosage is one a day but doctor advised to take two if required I also take an antacid liquid it’s not bad now touch wood I think the stress of it all and anxiety is making everything worse had chest discomfort today so took myself off to A&E they were really good with me ECG perfectly normal Troponin levels good and chest X-ray clear put it down to Musculoskeletal pain but your always asking the question is it something sinister 🙏🙏

Have you been tested for H Pylori? Very common cause of GERD. Lansoprazole dose seems high as does have long term issues.
