Clopidogrel dizziness side effect

Hi,

I’ve been taking 75mg of Clopidogrel for 4 weeks now since having a TIA, luckily it was not a severe TIA and I wasn’t in a bad way afterwards.

This week while being away on holiday I’ve had some bad spells of dizziness that I’ve not have had previously, I’ve seen that this could be a side effect of this drug and I’m just wondering if this is common after such a period of time of taking it?

I’m back home on Monday and will be calling my own doctor but thought I would ask in the meantime.

Thanks, Chris

Hi Chris

Yes, all heart medication can lead to dizziness and other side effects. For sure, please consult with your GP
