I’ve decided I have been quite worried about walking to far because of my symptoms, so today I’m going to go for it, take it easy to start and see how I get on and build up,
I used to walk my dog twice a day for miles, bike loads.
Not going that far yet but getting started, GTN firmly one my pocket, and spoons at the ready 😂😂😂

Wonderful. I walk my doggie 3 X a day but only 20 mins per walk usind different routes. Sometimes a bit challenging in 32 degree heat. 8pm one is good altho still super humid. Best of luck and let us all know how u get on.
I'm the same but have 5 dogs. Slowly confidence is returning and it's early days but trying to slightly increase distance and speed on a weekly basis. Some days I just don't feel up to it so take it easy, others I Potter and look around more. Enjoying the moment will help.
Take it easy and slowly as you say. Each day is different. In North London it is 80-90% humidity today which meant I had to slow down the pace as it made walking my dog a bit more difficult.
I am a member of Ramblers. It means that Incan walk with others if I want to. Walk and company and I find it so much better than walking on my own, although I do that too. Always remember to take water, especially when it’s hot. I carry a card with my name, date of birth, emergency phone numbers and Dr’s name and number and a mobile, plus any medication you might be taking. . It’s a good safety precaution and something that Ramblers recommend. Walking benefits us in so many ways - well done.
