Very positive hospital letter

I was very surprised to receive my letter so soon but was very happy with how well I'm doing at the moment I would include all the details but it's 4 pages long! 😂. Just very positive letter which is great my consultant is very happy with me x and wants to see me in a years time for an echo and exercise test on the same day 😅.

That's great news. We have to take all the positives we can get to help us through. All I can say is keep doing what ever it is you are doing which is helping you get through this. I did see a few weeks back that you are on sertraline. How are getting on with it and what is your dosage. I am on 50mg. Remember all of us with congenital issues are warriors. And we are stronger than we really think we are. You take care and take all the positives in your letter. You take care.

I don't know really. I suppose the setraline is having an effect. But everyone is different. I was a bit stressed today trying to sort my medication out. The trouble is the specialist says I have heart failure. Now we know that my right ventrical is one of the problems. So to be put on entresto I have to have heart failure. So now I have to see a cardiac nurse at my local hospital to check me while iam on this medication. But I have had a few days chasing up hospital's to get a new prescription as I run out on Christmas day. But it has been such a pain trying to get an answer. However got there in the end but this is a journey I hate trying to sort things out, but if my congenital issue had been found at birth or when I was a little older then my life would have been so different. I would have been seen at great ormond Street then possibly moved on to Barts and so on so forth. But the condition never bothered me until it was found in 2022. But its this chasing things up getting frustrated and just seems to never end, sorry I waffle on but I will discuss this with my therapist. Any way your news was brilliant. Take care

Yes it was a sort of shock to be told heart failure. But the right ventrical has not been right due to the ebsteins. But I done maximal effort on stress test. It's just that my oxygen levels go so low on exertion. I have not heard any more about barts. But again its another test to get more data and to see if some more efficency can be produced from my heart. Thanks for asking.

I know how you worry and you have every right to feel worried with everything you go through but this positive letter I think you should keep it at hand and when that anxiety creeps in keep reading it to remind yourself over the next year till you have another appointment how well you are doing
