I have come off Ticagrelor having been on it for 1 year, since my heart attack. I have two stents fitted . Anyone experienced swollen legs, feet and when pressed indentation remains. I feel I’m retaining fluid in whole body, I’m feeling lethargic also have uncomfortable aching in abdomin!! My doctors surgery closed today! Will try tomorrow!! Looking for some advice!! Probably nothing but concerned more having had HT.

It does sound like you are retaining fluid. Safest thing to do is see you doctor as soon as you can so he can examine you. Hopefully he can help you resolve the issue.

It might be worthwhile having a review of your medication as well. Taking Ticagrelor may have hidden a side effect that you get from another medication. I am thinking of such as Amlodipine which can cause water retention.

I hope that you managed to get an answer to your problem. For what it is worth, I have a serious issue with Amlodipine. It makes my legs and ankles swell, but worse still it destroys my concentration and I cannot function properly. I lost a month of my life before I changed to Losartan and I've been on that for a decade now with no issues.

Thanks. I have kidney infection and GP thought I had a heart murmur so I’m going to get a echo at hospital!
