Hi, I had my first ICD 6 months ago after having blackouts with an abnormal heart rhythm. In the last 2 years been diagnosed with cardiomyopathy. I’m looking for an annual travel insurance but with not much luck. Any suggestions of insurance companies for people with heart conditions? Still feel like I’m a bit new to all this. Thanks xx

Hello and welcome to the forum! The two companies I tend to recommend are StaySure and AllClear. Before travelling you should check the Foreign & Commonwealth Office website as if you are advised not to travel to a country your insurance policy will be invalid. Also think about where you might be planning to go. If the USA and Caribbean are excluded you can save a small fortune. Some policies exclude CovID but are not really worth the risk as if you were unlucky you could lose your home. I am just sitting back and waiting!
