Nothing on it's head but a tuft of ginger fur. It looks as though it has a pink or red collar on and from memory (20+years on I still miss my ginger lad) a collar on a ginger causes the head fur to ruff just a bit.

I did wonder if it was a stray & workers in the shop would feed it etc but it is too well fed so your probably right about queuing for treats or tins of tuna. Only problem with that is where is the money kept & how is it possible to carry home ! Maybe its owner is Inside & is waiting for the treat before going home
