Picture taken at Canning Town this morning. If they are truly essential workers they need more tube trains. London has the highest infection rate which spills over into Hertfordshire!

Some need locked in, locked down or locked out forevermore. 😱 Safety in numbers? Knocking on wood. 🤔

Seeing situations like that makes one lose hope. The London Mayor has a lot to answer for in reducing the trains.

The trains went back up but they have a lot of people off, isolating etc.

Coffin trains but who's the tube?

It's a no win situation isn't it. 🤔

There are lots of things “hidden away by the authorities“ .

you are correct when you say the London needs more tube trains. Transport for London treat people that are legally responsible for terribly. At the start of the crisis they halved the number of tube trains. This was to save money because of course their revenue had been massively hit. It was nothing to do with safety.

It’s obvious really- if you have more trains then greater social distancing can occur. They then allowed the mainstream media such as the BBC to perpetrate fairy stories that people were behaving irresponsibly by overcrowding trains and should wait for the next train which by the way would also be full at peak times. Other items on TFL,s “help list” involves doing nothing at all for a black cab trade and then sending out a memorandum about three weeks later saying they closed all the testing centre is effectively meaning many taxis will be off the road. Transport for London are only really answerable directly to the mayor and they have a cosy relationship but one that’s disgraceful nonetheless. I hope this sheds some insight ......

Many people have no choice but to work to feed and house desperate and frightened families.

But there's also an element of herd stupidity; thankfully small, but no less dangerous for that.

Take care, people.

They are obviously fitting better ventilation in the trains they're not running.....

I see pictures of people who should know better not keeping to social distancing rules. There was one in a local publication of a group nurses and careers clapping, all standing close together, cheek by jowl! One of the comments was that they worked together every day and so were in effect a family group and that social distancing wasn’t possible for nursing staff. The were not wearing any PPE in the picture though...not a mask in sight!

There are people who do think that the rules apply to them. It makes me so angry. On the subject of London Transport, I would hate any of my family to have to use it. Sadiq Khan has a lot to answer for in my opinion. 🤬

TFL have a problem called " Rush Hour " when they need lots of trains then from 9.30am they don't need the trains,

But and then always a but what do you do with the Trains and Staff when you don't need them until 1700 . It's not easy trying to sort out a problem like this, without Staging when people go to and stop work.

Sadiq Khan may be Driving a Tube after the next mayoral election !!! that's a light hearted comment !!!

Stay well Stay Safe and Keep off the Tube if you Can

I'm doing a weekly pharmacy run for my local hospital in S London, and I was appalled on Wednesday by the increase in road traffic from last week to this. It seemed to be almost back to normal.
