Hi I’m a 55 year old male I had a stent fitted 10 years ago, I have high blood pressure, but in general feel in good health. I’m on the key worker list. Should I self isolate or can I continue to work. Thanks in advance

I'm not sure any of us is qualified to be able to give you a definitive answer one way or the other. You could try calling the BHF nurses or your GP (the latter is probably not a great option as GPs are pretty much only working on emergency cases now).
If you do get a definitive answer, could you post it as it might be helpful to others (although I do absolutely accept that each case is an individual one)
Hello Choillout44
Please see the NHS advice below
Social Distancing
gov.uk/government/publicati...
Self-isolating for 12 weeks with serious health conditions – see the section headed – If you are at high risk
nhs.uk/conditions/coronavir...
The final bullet -have another serious health condition is at the moment a bit vague, the best advice is to wait for the next week, until 30th March to see if you receive a letter telling you that you are in this category, do not contact your GP in the meantime to see if you're in this category as this will swamp the surgeries
Hi Chillout44. You’re in the vulnerable club as many of us are. I’d talk (on the phone) to my line manager and see what s/he has to say. They’re bound to have a policy on this.
