12 week isolation query

As a front line NHS worker, who had HA and stents fitted in January am I now in the at risk category who are advised yesterday to shield or isolate for 12weeks. Guidance seems very broad at moment any help appreciated. Thx thx.

I'd think that you're definitely in the group of people that should be exercising Social Distancing, which is clearly a problem if you're front a line NHS worker.

I assume the NHS have some sort of protocols in place as regards staff in your position. Have you talked to your manger to see if you can be moved back from front line duties so as to reduce your contact with people?

I am in a similar situation. I rang occupational health yesterday who told me to stay 2 metres from everyone but that's impossible. They said more guidance would be coming out in the next couple of days.
