wee update number 2
Can't answer any of your questions unfortunately, but I'm sorry to hear you're still being held captive. Fingers & toes crossed that they can get you out of pain soon xx
hiya!.. sorry to hear you’re still in hospital.. i’m currently on 100mg isorobide.. definitely not a wee hamster on a wheel lolol.. have to hold onto the bannister to haul myself upstairs!.. but not blaming isorobide for that lol..still getting intermittent chest pain that sometimes goes elsewhere plus nauseus feeling.. probably one of the reasons i’m heading for an angiogram in the next few weeks.. hope you get home soon👍
Sorry to hear they haven't resolved the pain issue, hope you can get it sorted. 🤞That's certainly a massive jump in medication!
You're not missing anything in the outside world, weather tomorrow def doesn't look good up in your neck of the woods, think if it was me and they were intent on discharge I'd try and blag another day with meals provided. 😊
Good morning Shiona, sorry to hear you`re still experiencing pain and still not sorted.Spirit suggested stay in, meals provided, if the food`s anything like my nearest hospital you`ll have lost a lot of weight by now.All the best for a solution.xx
don’t worry. first taxi out when docs been. food is terrible. only thing you can depend on is the soup. which wouldn’t bother me but they only serve it at lunch. hopefully be home in a few hours❤️
Great news xx
oh dear. just found out i’m not paroled yet. totally gutted
oh dear.. did they say why?
I must have struck lucky in Liverpool Heart and Chest - the food was really nice(and this is coming from someone who is picky), chicken curry, roast dinner, toast and drinking chocolate as required. I guess there's a wide range of quality across the NHS.
i wish. stodgy gloopy mess most of it. don’t mention toast they don’t have toasters i’m wards here so it comes from the kitchen wrapped in tin foil. by the time it hits the wards it could stretch across the clyde. i’m missing a bit of toast😩
Oh I've clearly been spoilt. When I was in CCU, if I woke up in the night and one of the nurses spotted me awake, I'd get offered some toast and a mug of hot chocolate, all made just around the corner from my room.
I take it all back - hope you get out soon, and get something decent to eat! 🤞
apparently they’re not allowed toasters because of health and safety. beaurocratic nonsense. sometimes when i’m poorly that’s all i want🤣
I was told no toasters as they kept setting off the fire alarms and the hospital have to pay a fine for too many false alarms!
Hope you can escape today.
The yearning to get home reminded of my 97 year old dad who was in hospital because he broke his arm (decided to see if ice was slippery and went a cropper!). He hid his hospital food cutlery up his plaster cast and during the night carved away at the cast so he could slip his coat on and stroll out of the ward!!! It almost worked xxx
120mg? Wow, your arteries will be so wide you'll float out of the hospital when they release you. Hope you do get home today. xx
I do...I take 3 times a day...I don't feel any different from when I took 1
