My 4 year old had an ECG last week along with a chest X-ray. The surgery phoned today to say that the X-ray was clear however the dr would like you to come in this week to discuss his ECG results and talk if a plan going forward. My son doesn’t need to attend the appointment and the receptionist said she didn’t know the ECG results she was just phoning with the request from the doctor.
I’m now starting to worry that the these was something on the ECG, anyone ever have this happen and the results were ok?

Bless, and No unfortunately mine are big boys..All I can say is try not too worry (easier said than done)On a positive note .. Whatever is found if anything at least it can be treated and as a parent I would want to know sooner rather than a few years down the line..
My child hasn't experienced that, but I have an abnormal EKG due to hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, so I know how scary this must be, and can only imagine if it's your child. I'm sending thoughts and prayers for comfort until you see the doctor.
The good news would be that it apparently isn't something emergent or he would have y'all come in sooner, plus the fact your son doesn't have to be there sounds a bit less worrisome, if that's possible!
As Brandibell wrote, at least whatever it is will be addressed early on, rather than later, or totally ignored like my EKG was for years. Good on your son's doctor for following up!
Please take care & do let us know how it turns out.🌻
Thanks for the replies, little man is due another ECG next week as this showed abnormalities. We have to keep an eye on his pulse as he goes very pale a lot and tires very easily too. His finger nails also go discolored so they are checking for a problem with his heart.
