Help with 3 day ECG results please, confused!

Any help at all with my recent 3 day ECG results would be very helpful please.

Background, HA and stent fitted December 2021, on aspirin, clopidogrel, bisoprolol, ramipril, statins, levothyroxine.

Been having regular palpitations, bit dizzy,

ectopic beats, fluttering, sometimes lasting a short time, sometimes can last continuously for a couple of days, hence doctor ordered a 3 day monitor. I didn't have many whilst I had the monitor- typical- but ECG picked something up.

Here goes, it's a bit long winded:

frequent multifocal VE's, 5 V runs longest for 30 beats, 7 couplets, 15runs of ventricular trigenimy and 45bigeminy. Frequent SVE'S's, 75 SVE couplets , short runs of atrial bigeminy and 45 atrial runs.

ECG showing Sinus rhythm max HR73BPM with V runs, one atrial run and isolated VE's.

Has anyone had an ECG result with anything at all mentioned above, or can members please offer any help at all.

I will be talking to my GP tomorrow asking him explain my results. I guess I will need some more investigation into what's happening. Must admit I'm quite anxious.

Lily

How long did you have to wait for your results? Im still waiting after 6 weeks.

The results came back to the GP the day after I took the ECG back to the hospital. Very quick indeed. That was on the 16 August and I've only just noticed them on my patient record so I rang the surgery and they said the GP will ring me tomorrow, but he's had the results for over a week, so it's a good job I chased it up .Lily

Have a good session with your GP. Best to get a professional to explain what your results mean for you.

No offence to your gp but unless he used to be in cardiology you need that information interpreting by a specialist. Good luck

Can I concur with Ewloe. Cardiology is very specialised and your GP many not have the knowledge to interpret properly. Will you let us know the results of your call with the GP but it may be you will need interpretation by a specialist

Had a call from GP today to reassure me that the results are nothing to worry about. He said that people over 55 ectopic beats and palpitations are quite normal🤔 hmm.

He did say though that if my funny heartbeats are affecting my quality of life, he would recommend a pacemaker

😱 eek! Well they do and getting more frequent.

He asked me if I just wanted to leave it for a while or he could send a letter to the cardiology department at Lincoln. Well why not, I think I need to see a cardiologist.

I've never seen a cardiologist since I was discharged from hospital on 30 December, despite ringing the secretaries to even find out who the hell is my cardiologist, I've only spoken to an advanced cardiology nurse . I've been on the waiting list since June and tried to find out today how long I'd have to wait, it's between 9 and 12 months. Honestly, the care in Lincolnshire is absolutely appalling.

Maybe the letter from the GP to cardiology might speed things up.

Fingers crossed.

Thank you for your replies.
