If I were you, I'd be taking your partner to see your doctor immediately. Have a list of ALL the drugs your partner is taking, prescribed and any over the counter medicines as well (included any herbal remedies). Also write down the time of day unwell feeling starts, together with any other symptoms.

You may live in an area where seeing a doctor is not so quick, in which case, you could go to your pharmacist and ask for a private consultation.

You're in need of professional help and the problem could be anything - no-one here can give a diagnosis.

Best of luck

Henry

Has he recently started on the Ramipril? What other meds is he on? Like others have said you need to get some advice. If you ring 111 they may arrange a visit to an out-of-hours GP. Any chance (if he had been on the medication for a while) of a bug or food poisoning?

Sorry to hear he is not wellkipper1958. Obviously needs to see his doctor. Because the tablets are not suiting him. I was on 2mg tablet for many years. And now i am on the 4mg tablets. And never had a problem. Hope he gets this sorted out. Best wishes Brian

I agree with the person who said talk to someone on 111 for advice, if you can't get a GP appointment quickly and of course a pharmasist might be able to help you. If you usually go to the same one that dispences your meds, that would be my choice. I hope you get some relief and answers soon.

Try taking it at night rather than morning if you don't already. I'm on 10mg and the change worked for me with the dreaded Ramipril cough which I no longer have.
