Hi I have been diagnosed with AF this week after a visit to A&E,all feels a bit surreal as up until now have had no issues at all,I am currently feeling ok my GP has signed me off work for two weeks to let things settle.

I am on blood thinners was also prescribed a beta blocker however only took it once as my BP became very very low(go took me off it) I am awaiting a hospital appointment, just wondering what happens now! Do I have to change my life that much? I have three dogs who I walk daily (not since Wednesday) do I need to change my diet I am already a vegetarian, yes drink the odd glass of wine at weekend,do not smoke (never have ) I am reading as much information as I can find,I have no intention of letting this issue run my life but do not want to run before I can walk as I know I have a I can do attitude to things and my poor son is asking me to slow down and listen,so any advice please will be welcome
