Hi! I was just diagnosed with left bundle branch block. I am a healthy 39-year-old female. I eat well and work out frequently.I was having PACs and so my doctor did an EKG. I have seen a cardiologist. He doesn’t seem very concerned. I Try not to worry, but so weird and rare at my age. I had an echo that showed no heart damage, normal size everything, with an EF of 60. I wore a heart monitor which only showed the PACs and an occasional sinus arrhythmia. I did a calcium scoring which came back at zero. I have an appointment in January to see an electrophysiologist. But wondering if I should be worrying. All the literature I read sounds very bad for this. A few weeks prior to the PACs, I had what I thought was a virus. My doctor did some blood work, everything was normal except for I had a positive ANA test. I also am going to see a rheumatologist to rule out any autoimmune disorders. It is all just too weird. The cardiologist seems to think I had the left bundle branch block always, and they just found it in that EKG. The PACs have gone away, and I feel normal again.

Hi, a lot of people on here would suggest not looking at “Dr Google” because so much of the information is outdated or plain wrong. Your own doctors or BHF are the best people to advise you. All the best.
Hi I just love it when they say don't worry!? You have probably had freak out moments about this and this is a normal reaction. Do not think your alone. There are people on this site that have gone through the same or similar diagnosis. Hopefully they will post to reassure you. More information and reassurance is whats needed from drs. Some drs are better than others at resurring patients .
You have done the right things and posted on this forum. I agree with shar28. Contact the BHF nurses they are brilliant, for the sake of a 5 minute or so conversation you will at least have an idea of what to expect from your conditon and most of all you will receive empathy from whoever your speak to. I cannot praise them enough. This is one of the reasons why i became a volunteer for the BHF to raise money to keep these invaluable support services going. So go in ring them today 0300 330 3311

I have had 3 episodes of heart "illnesses", all preceded by a viral infection. I am not a doctor so I don't know if they caused the episodes.
