Having been diagnosed as having Left branch bundle block at the beginning of Oct all had gone quiet as far as my next course of treatment will be.

I am currently on beta blockers and losartin to reduce BP.

Should I just wait or start chasing up my cardiologist?

Advice would be appreciated.

Your doctor should get the test results. See them first. If they don't have them you could chase up the cardiologist.

May be a phone call to GP and cardiologist, you need answers.

Contacted cardiologist today, 23/10/18. Bear in mind my Stress test was on 3/10/18.

I was advised to ring back in seven days to find out cardiologists next course of action around my treatment. Not good enough at all but that’s the NHS for you I’m afraid. You are merely a reference number.

Yes, I agree. My GP practice is the same, I had 12-lead stress test and echo cardiologist , I had to wait for a long time to see the cardiologist.

My BBB was picked by Blue crest screening. I did not do anything.

Thanks. Seems a long winded system. Things could go wrong having to wait so long. I am on blood pressure tablets, beta blockers and aspirin. Trying to also keep cv training but it is a worry.

Hi there after having a DVT from a long haul flight was diagnosed with lbbb , I firstly had a heart monitor box fitted for 48 hrs , then I had an echocardiogram , then an appointment with the Cardiologist all in all 6 months later diagnosed with left ventricular impairment . I have just had an mri scan & stress test at Briadegreen in Liverpool so go for results in November , so for me its been a slow process that will be 13 months from start to finish which does cause worry , im on Ramipril 1.25mg & Bisoprolol 1.25 mg . Hope this helps you , so there is a lot off people waiting for cardiologist being on the high list health problems in the uk , hope all goes well for you , Phil

They found my lbbb a few years back and said it is common then left me. I seen the cardiologist a couple of years later after an angiogram that was okans put on perindaprol and bisoprolol then took off them and was discharged. 2 years later they sent for me and i told them how I was feeling and they sent me for an echocardiogram and mri got called within a month and was diagnosed with cardiomyopathy with an ef of 48 which was moderate nearing severe and told I may have to have a pacemaker.

Fast forward a month and they asked me to gave genetic testing from another cardiologist as the type i have is possibly hereditary.

He looked at my mri and said he didn’t feel it was as severe as the other cardiologist said it was, he told me to carry on with my meds and that was that. I was and still am confused, I rang to find out if i was going to my next appointment to be told they had cancelled it but not told me.

I feel confused & let down. X
