So here I am again at the hospital.... just waiting to go on to get a new lead for my CRT D device.

Very nervous but first on and just hope they can get the wires in and get me back to bionic woman.

On a positive note I have lost 5lb in the last three weeks. It's called the stress diet. So here goes..... bye bye Kurt hello Kate 😁

Hi all.... so op done .... the device had completely flipped over... had been in agonybfor weeks. So they have loosened all my wires.. . Put a new lead in with an extra strong grip.... and the time pushed my device under my muscle. It b@@@y hurt... but short term pain for long term gain. The bionic woman is back πŸƒ along with her sidekick Kate x😁😁😁

Hi Les glad to hear all is well and hope all stays good for you now. I am being super cautious this time. I am gonna take full advantage of R & R time... I am NOT going back to work too early ( they ate already trying to get me back after 2 weeks. I am listening to Drs and staying home.

My healing pains will be worse this time as they have shoved my device under the muscle...

But once healed it will then stay in place.... so short term pain long term gain. They also put a new type of lead in place... it has a hook on it so harder for it to fall out. (HOPEFULLY)

Apparently they gave me all the sedation allowed ( enough to knock a horse out) my Dr said afterwards. But not enough to knock me out... so felt all the pain of the device being pushed under the muscle ....they had to hold me down! Then felt every stitch! My son is telling me how brave I am ... and hard core.... so I will take that 😁

My consultant looked so stressed after the op and explained at that point they had to just keep going! I was comforting HIM and said it's over now and I was ok. He has put on my notes any further ops I HAVE to be given a general.!! 😁

But it's been worth it....i feel great again already and I now owe it to myself to rest up and get post op fit.

I want that to be the LAST time... till batteries change which is not for another 9 years whoop whoop.

Let's hope this time I don't spend my days buying lots of stuff online πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

Hope your pains go quickly. Well done.
