Today is the 8th anniversary of my Heart attack, I retired on my 65th birthday in October 2016 and am enjoying my retirement, and as many have said i dont know how I found time to work!
I have kept well and apart from the odd angina pain when walking the dogs after a heavy meal all is going great with my health. Old age aches and pains are around as the mind is willing but sometimes the body isn't.
I have just started volunteering for the local Tide mill which is one of only 2 working tide mills in the country and some of my 50 years as a Baker may come in useful.
Basically i am saying there is life after a Heart attack and it is what you make it, so look forward not back and enjoy the rest of your life.

So good to hear how much you are enjoying your retirement and how well you are doing eight years on from heart attack. The tide mill sounds very interesting - I'm off to google it!
