Op tomorrow

Hello All,

Just a quickie to let you know that I am settled in my hospital bed, I will be first down tomorrow morning which is a bonus. My surgeon has been to see me and has agreed to give me videos of some of my surgery, that’s Boxing Day entertainment taken care of, ha ha!! Anaesthetist has been too and explained that I will be in ICU for at least a couple of days due to the number of procedures on my heart.

I will be out of touch for a while, a big thank you to all heart chums for support, advice and love. Take care of yourselves.

Delighted to hear they are going to fix you tomorrow. Someone used the word journey here. That’s so appropriate. The first step on the journey of “getting back to being the real you”.

My brother-in-law was given his life back after extensive heart surgery.

Good luck, I’m envious as I have to wait. Don’t know about the video though.

My thoughts and prayers are with you for a speedy recovery. Best wishes David

Thank you David, good to know that your brother-in-law is doing so well. Hopefully you won’t have to wait too long.

My op has been postponed as I was given the wrong information about when to stop the Apixaban. Need another 24 hours for it to leave my system. All are trying to reschedule for tomorrow.
