Having been on Amiodarone for 5 years, I was hoping I could have a change of medication but have been told today that I'm on it for ever. Is this normal?

Hi there - was there a particular reason you wanted to change your amiodarone? If the drug is working and you're tolerating it well then taking it in the long term will help to control your heart condition (which I'm assuming is heart rhythm related)
