Painful finger tips

Hi all.

Newbie here lol.

I've only been told by GP recently that I have psoriasis arthritis. Even though they diagnosed 5 years ago...the information didnt trickle down to me . Lol

Randomly found out when intent to talk about arm, couldnt even lift it. Was only given painkiller...and diagnosis.

So all very new. I don't know anything about it really and and hoping to get some info from forum :)

I have developed bent stiff painful fingers over the last 10 years, index fingers bent downwards. Swan kneck on another finger(little) and a few fingers bending.

Had hands phyiso for a year etc.

Then it developed in one arm and the other arms elbow. Pretty sure it's in toea and feet.

My question is, over last few months I've been having 'really' painful burning sensations in finger tips. Having to take painkillers. Is this part of the psoriasis arthritis? Any advice would be welcome.

Hi Tempest1970. Yes I find that I get this too, more so when I am swiping the screen on my mobile.

It can be very painful and sensitive.

I believe that this is small fibre neuropathy. Although I haven't had this confirmed, having read lots of posts over the years and googling this is my conclusion.

I was diagnosed just over 5 years ago and I take Leflunomide and inject Benepali. There is so much more to this disease than swollen digits and achy joints x
