Sometimes we just have to rise up and deal with things beyond our control...

Good morning everyone,

I think this is good example of how Mother Nature affects us all and some times we have to find alternative means to travel.

These are my very resilient neighbours who when the pond froze and I arrived and threw wild bird food onto the pond, which created heightened activity as the ducks had been on the other bank flew over and landed with less than their normal decorum as they were slip sliding away on the ice but they soon regained their composure and had an extra breakfast.

I often take wild bird food into the forest and feed the birds we have families of nut hatches living very close to me and they're one of the UK's smallest birds, I love being close to nature and can just sit and enjoy my surroundings. 😊
