Has anyone found that voluntary work helped them through grief.

I'm also interested to know if anyone has volunteered in a hospice where their loved one passed. I understand it is very helpful for some.

I volunteer in a charity food warehouse only one day per week as to the four it used to be.it does help and in time I will commit to more days.i would volunteer in a hospital but I think a hospice would be to emotional for me.

That's great Kenny kenster1 As well as getting out and mixing with others, you're doing a great job. I totally understand why you wouldn't feel able to volunteer on the medical side, it's not for everyone.
