Cancer was the cause of her demise.

Difficult time for you then 2stroke , but 47 wonderful years together, that's something to be very proud of.
Cancer has touched so many of us, it's a vile illness.

50 years is such a memorable and much-quoted number and I truly hope that the 47 wonderful years you spent together offers you some comfort.
Really feel for you 2stroke - Mike & I made it to our Golden Wedding in August 2015 & he passed away 2 days later. It was a terrible shock, no warning - we had just got back from a family holiday in Cornwall & 36 hours later he was gone. Lots of lovely memories but we still miss him dreadfully after almost three years. This will be a difficult time for you - I hope you have family close by to support you. 💐
