Omg...I have had the worst itchy legs over the past few days.. I could literally claw them constantly.. I cant think of anything I have done differently, no new medication, and touch wood (lots and lots of times) Im feeling okay at the mo!!!!
I have a very few slight bumps/spots..and I find it strange that its the whole of my legs, not just one part...
Any advice..cant be bothered to walk 40mins to docs to sit for another 30mins to be told it will go away in its own time..its kinda driving me mad.. feel like a dog with fleas....
mucho thanks Dawnie x

Not sure if this is much help but I have had this a couple of times before. It started with itchy legs then a day after spots appeared all over my legs, and I really sympathise because it drove me mad too. Both times lasted for a few weeks and I was told it is one of the many symptoms of Behcets. Maybe you should see your doctor just in case this is different though and to put your mind at rest. I really hope you are itch free soon.
This is a problem I've had all my life - my mum used to say I got it when the plums are in season. I don't - but there you go, that's mums for you!
I've always used calamine lotion for it, which, to be honest, hasn't been very successful. The chilled aloe vera sounds like it might be a good solution though.
Iv got blood blisters and lumps now..because iv been scratching so much!!! I shall try the aloe vera thanks andrea!!! iv tried calamine mixed with aqueous cream but im itchier!!!!
I've had it a couple of tmes and what it meant with me it that a lesion was going to come to the surface from down deep. Again with me it meant that a little blood vessel or something has got blocked with granuloma and 'died'. For me no big deal in the long run - just a very nastry sore which takes ages to heal. If that happens let me know.
In the meantime try everything but don't make it worse - what about calamine lotion? I find anything to do with babies is the best - not too strong.
I find a product called double base works for me it is a thick greasy cream and leaves you feeling sticky but its good you can also get it as shower gel but beware the slippery residue it leaves fell out the bath a few times not a pretty sight !
