Has anyone been seen at the new center of excellence at Barts in London ?

Hi

No, but going to ask consultant Rhuemy at Ipswich who is leaving to take up role at Addenbrookes about tertiary referral during my appointment tomorrow.

I used to be seen at Charing X and also took part in trial at Hammersmith so think, apart from travel, it will be worth it

Hi yes I went there 2 weeks ago and saw them was very helpful had eyes checked etc Also Prof Fortune is there and she is very good

Hi Kevin, my sister suffers from Neuro Behcets and is waiting for a referral to Barts London Centre of Excellence, seems to be mixed feed back at present, Can I ask who you see at Ipswich as my sister was at Ipswich but was then referred to Addenbrookes when they couldn't pinpoint a diagnosis and who referred you, was it your Consultant?

Hi Sissy - sorry to hear your sister has Neuro BD and hope she gets the referral and support she needs soon.

As regards Ipswich, I've been seeing Dr Gavin Clunie for last 10 years but had a working diagnosis of Behcets since 1987 (was in-patient at Charing Cross after a major flare: that resulted in BD clinical decision).

As regards St Barts I got nowhere when trying to get referred but then I'm not in dire need of the diagnosis or treatment as things pretty stable.

I am in Scotland and dont have one of these centres yet. I hope this will happen one day.
