I don’t know..but I’d love to. Feeling more and more disengaged and can’t remember things. Maybe just age?
Hi Scandal,
Here's some basic info on symptoms you might have if your brain is affected.
It's an excerpt from:
Kernich CA. Patient and family fact sheet. Behçet disease.
Neurologist. 2006 Mar;12(2):115-6. PubMed PMID: 16534450.

Hope this helps!

I have Neuro BD. Pain pain pain is what I feel. I get a migraine headache that lasts for a day or longer. There is pain in the back of my neck that travels up the back of my head. There is extream eye pain and pressure, Cognitive skill decline, brain fog, ringing ears and a long lasting nausia fewling (There will be vomiting). For me depressionsets sets in because of pain and the inability to think straight. Everyone is different but these are some of the common symptoms for most. Are you or someone you know experiencing symptoms?

Gina,
My pituitary was destroyed and hypothalamus badly damaged because of Behçet’s. My doctors suspect neuro-Behçet’s. I have all of the symptoms you describe, plus my entire endocrine system is essentially out of order. I have to regulate everything from sodium levels, to fluids/kidney function, adrenal and thyroid function. Have you ever been told what exactly is causing your pain? I have the pain you are describing, plus my arms and legs feel like the bones are cracking and electricity is shocking my hands and feet. One of my doctors thinks it is coming from my brain, while others have said it is from neuropathy. I take gabapentin and Cymbalta for pain, and while they help, I still need some narcotic pain medicine when too much pain is coming from too many places at once. I hope your situation improves soon. I feel so frustrated, as this physical stuff has completely taken over and I am afraid of losing my medical coverage if I can’t get things under control so I can go back to work here in the U.S.
Thank you,
Dave
