How bad is colchicine on GI tract?

My biggest concern is a spot on terminal ileum, fatty liver, malabsorption and weight loss

I have IBS-C and have been on colchicine for 4 months. The only side effect I notice is that I am not very hungry and have lost a few pounds. The BEST thing is...... no symptom flares at all!!!!!
