I've been thinking of dying my hair, I was just wondering has anyone had issue after dying hair? Has it started a flare up for anyone?

HAIRDYING AND Behçet's
I've dyed my hair for years, no problems for me.
I dyed my hair all my life with no problems, however a couple of years ago I reacted badly to a dye I applied at home (this was a new brand to me) and came out with extremely itchy and sore lumps on my scalp. Since then I've only used a wash in/wash out product which has been fine. I won't go back to permanent dyes.
I color twice a year no flare up ive colored during a flare up can't say it has any affect although I only let my hair dresser use redeem products because there the least harsh and lowest in ammonia! I'm a red head with already sensitive skin good luck
Same here, I've dyed my hair for years with no problems. I would also recommend using very 'good' products. I have very sensitive skin and don't seem to have reacted to any dyes that I am aware of. I use a liquid 'cortisone' (not sure of brand/active ingredient) if I do happen to get an itchy scalp (seems to come out of nowhere from time to time). Personally I think it is important to look as good as we can to give ourselves a lift.
Cheers Lesley
I've dyed my hair a few times and no problems, I haven't thought about a flare before doing it really. I always choose a brand with good reputation, not a cheap dodgy one. But that's thinking about my hair itself, not only a flare up.
Hey there, have had BD since childhood and been dying/hi lighting/coloring my hair since my teens without issues. Worse that has happened is a bit of rash-acne like at the nape of my neck
Good luck!
There are organic/vegan types of coloring products out there. Never have used them, just know they are a bit more $$.
