Suggested Doctors or clinics in the US?

Now that after 7 years I have a diagnosis I am concerned that although I think I have great people as doctors that are considered the top in their field, they do not have a great del of knowledge or experience with Behcets? Suggestions of places in the US that have experience?

The office is extremely busy and is always delayed several hours when you have an appointment. Be prepared to sit and wait. Then wait some more. Have your questions ready, have your test results with you. I had tests spanning almost 10 years and he looked through them. Also I had pictures on my phone to show him of oral ulcers. If you are suffering like many from "Brain Fog" write everything down or bring someone who is not fogged who can speak for you and ask, discuss, etc.

When you take Levothyroxine, you are actually taking in iodine. The Levothyroxine (T4) which has 4 iodine molecules is converted into the form the body can use - T3 (Triiodothyronine) which has 3 molecules of iodine, by removing one molecule of iodine. If you have any function left in your thyroid then it can use that iodine. So, theoretically, you would not need to take in any more iodine.

TBH, it is wierd stuff! It's a byproduct of the wood industry and is in use as a powerful industrial solvent, a topical analgesic, a drug delivery system, an anti-inflammatory, a collagen-softener, a free-radical scavenger, a vaso-dilator, a diuretic, apparently its a cholinesterase inhibitor (but the reports are conflicting)

I consulted with Dr Yazici and agree, may be the best. He is in NYC. He is great for proving or denying a diagnosis but you will need a rheumatologist close to you for normal monitoring. Not sure where you live. I live in CT and Dr. Sandeep Varma is mine and he is incredible! Highly recommend!
